Authentic Fishing Trip in Lofoten

Experience fishing in Lofoten on board our authentic fishing boat. We will provide the best guidance on our 3 hour fishing trip with pick-up point at our private dock at Lofoten Apartments.

“Combine the Lofoten fishing experience with our preheated sauna after a day at sea – while your very own private chef for the day – dishes up the most gastronomic three course meal with your catch of the day.”

Fishing in Lofoten varies greatly with the season, and during the traditional Lofotfisket, from end of February to April, we catch skrei. In summer, we catch other types of fish, like pollock, haddock, mackerel and coastal cod.

We have made this trip suitable for those who have little or no fishing experience, but who would like to try it during a great day at sea. We cannot guarantee a catch, but we do our utmost to help through finding the right fishing spots. The boat trip itself is an experience if you like to immerse yourself in nature, like photography or is interested in learning about fishing. No two trips are alike, and we often see sea eagles and other birds on our trips.

This is included:
– Thermo suit
– All necessary equipment for fishing
– Coffee

What should you bring and wear?
The weather at sea in Lofoten can change rapidly, which is some of the charm of these isles. Fishermen have over hundreds of years learnt what is suitable clothing at sea, and we recommend the same for our guests in the summer, unless the temperature is above 20 degrees centigrade. Please wear: Wool underwear, which isolates and breathes. Fleece, wool sweater or another insulating middle layer in a bag/rucksack with you. Footwear, mittens and hat as necessary.
